Conversations that Craft Creativity
Theatre Talk is Vihaan’s reflective and interactive initiative that places conversation at the heart of artistic growth. We believe that in the world of art and literature, talking, sharing, and listening are as vital as writing and performing. Talking is communicating. Communicating is exploring. Exploring is knowing.
Vision
Doing theatre is important—but so is talking about it. Theatre Talk creates a space where theatre practitioners, students, and enthusiasts can engage in open, informal conversations with renowned theatre professionals. The purpose is to learn from their journeys, understand their struggles and inspirations, and stretch our own imagination through shared experiences.
Approach
Each Theatre Talk session invites a seasoned theatre personality to speak candidly about their practice. These are not lectures—they are dialogues. Participants are encouraged to listen deeply, ask freely, and think critically. From personal anecdotes to philosophical reflections, these conversations offer insight into the creative and practical worlds of theatre-making.
Why Theatre Talk?
At Vihaan, we recognize that growth doesn’t just come from doing—it comes from reflecting, questioning, and listening. Theatre Talk is a forum where voices are heard, minds are opened, and the collective theatre wisdom is passed on—not through books, but through stories.
