A Corner for Literature

Poetics is Vihaan’s dedicated literary initiative—an open and inclusive space where emerging voices in poetry and literature find a platform to share, reflect, and grow. It is a corner where young writers meet their peers and engage with experienced poets and authors, fostering a spirit of dialogue and creative mentorship.

Vision
At the heart of Poetics is a belief: every writer begins with a whisper—an unsure voice looking for a listener. Poeticsaspires to be that first listener. By bringing together young and veteran writers, the initiative provides a nurturing space for budding poets to present their work, receive feedback, and find direction in their creative journey. Our goal is to encourage and empower emerging writers to write bravely, share generously, and evolve thoughtfully.

Why Poetics?
At Vihaan, we believe that no art form can be truly complete without the spirit of poetry. Whether in rhythm, narrative, or silence—poetry lies at the core of every artistic expression. Poetics is an extension of this belief, a celebration of language, voice, and verse.

Journey So Far
Since its inception, Poetics has held four well-received editions. The inaugural session took place in the graceful presence of renowned Hindi poet Rajesh Joshi, along with young and vibrant voices like Neelotpal from Ujjain and Amit Manojfrom Haryana.
The most recent editions were held simultaneously in Bhopal and Delhi, witnessing a powerful confluence of generations. Esteemed literary figures such as Leeladhar Mandloi, Madan Kashyap, Promilla Quazi, and Leena Malhotra graced the gatherings in Delhi, engaging in deep poetic exchange and celebration.
